we're home!  so thankful for an awesome vacation and an incredible church family that really took the lead on some issues while i was gone.  happy to sleep in my own bed tonight....

a missional church

just read this on vince's blog.  so challenging!  how is your church mutiplying?

You know what I notice about that Jerusalem Church, and that Antioch Church, and every church mentioned in the Bible? They no longer exist. And you know what I know about your church? Someday it will not longer exist. Have you thought about that much? You should. And one of the things it should make you realize is that starting new churches (that go on to start new churches) (that go on to start new churches) is the only way your church will continue to have an impact on the world into the future. It’s true, if you don’t believe me, just read Stetzer’s book and the, what do you call it, oh yeah, the Bible.

One Prayer

We kicked off ONE PRAYER at RCC this week.  It was a great Sunday.  I am so excited about the potential for this series and what God is going to do through his church in the coming weeks.  You can listen to my one prayer here.  And don't forget that all of the ONE PRAYER churches are partnering together on the weekend of the 22nd to raise money to plant 500 churches!  Incredible...don't miss the rest of this series.
