From Wired Magazine's Gadget Lab ( I dig ), can you tell the difference between these two McDonald's hamburgers?
The one on the left is 12 years old (vintage 1996). The one on the right is fresh. Ew! The burger was kept by nutrition teacher Karen Hanrahan. She says:
" People always ask me - What did you do to preserve it? Nothing. It preserved itself. Ladies, and children alike - this is a chemical food. There is absolutely no nutrition here. "

Gross!!!

Several weeks after Hurricane Katrina, my brother-in-law returned to his office in New Orleans, where he had inadvertently left his McDonalds fries on his desk before evacuating. He found the walls of his office covered with mold, but the fries looked PRISTINE!

Ironically, at first glance, the one on the left looks more appealing! Yuck!

What's more, seasoned investors aren't the only ones with their eye on the mini storage prize.
