Yesterday was a gorgeous day to head downtown. So we packed a picnic and hit the National Smithsonian museum of American History and museum of Natural History. It was so much fun to spend the day with the family and we couldn't have had better weather for walking around. Matt and I keep hoping for a day to get away just the two of us to do some more exploring of museums and things down there. When we take the girls, we almost always end up at the Natural History museum, but I really can't blame them.
