Here are two of my favorite strange Ami quirks:
- She is one of those babies that will seek out the tiniest little speck on the carpet to pick up and put in her mouth. This drives me NUTS! and I have to vacuum all the time. But, if she happens to be playing on the carpet when I vacuum, she chases the vacuum! She loves it and tries to catch it, she's totally not afraid!
- If one of my other girls happens to stub their toe or hurt themselves in such a manner as to cause them to shriek loudly and start crying - it sends Ami into the most hysterical fits of crying she ever displays. She starts screaming and heaving and crying with such intensity that you can feel her little heart pounding away and then once she finally calms down she has those post-crying sobs/heaves/hiccup things - you know that quick sucking in of air, that strange uncontrollable thing with the diaphragm. You can imagine what this does to me: one child crying hysterically because she is hurt, another screaming into my ear because she hears the other crying - it's an overwhelming cacophony of shrieking children!
