Here is an article that a neighbor directed me to from Scientific American Magazine.  It is a great article discussing focusing on effort - instead of ability or intelligence - as a key to success in school and life.  I thought it was interesting and helpful with some really great insight.  It's definitely worth the read for moms with kids at home of any age.
