Amanda Too

We live in Chantilly and often take advantage of all that Reston has to offer. I hadn't heard about the organic farmers' market, though. Would you be willing to share some more info? Thanks!

Hi Amanda! I know that the Reston, Herndon, Vienna, and Burke farmers' markets are all producer-only markets. This means that everything that is sold must be grown/produced locally. Items such as baked goods and preserves are strongly encouraged to use local goods whenever possible. At these markets, you can often find farmers who will sell organic meats, greens, vegetables, etc... So, in that sense I guess I should have clarified better - we do not have a fully organic market at this time, but the markets often do include organic vendors. Hope your summer is off to a great start!
